1468, The End

I don’t feel so well.  I know that health is a linear decline right from the embark of birth, so I welcome it. I can confidently say that I lived with a purpose that really amounted to something for me, and I died a triumphant literary legacy.

I came, I saw, I printed.

Gutenberg out, y’all.

1460, Brushing Off the Dirt and Buttoning Up My Shirt

Although my life may not be as glorious as it might have been a few years ago, but I will not exclude myself from the thrills of the printing press by any means. I have been keeping myself busy with the help of Conrad Humery. He has helped me reestablish myself as respectable among the printing business. I would go as far as to remark that there is a certain rekindling taking place inside myself once more. After all, the '60's were a crazy time, man.

A Falling Out

The fire has burnt out. Or rather, had been stomped out. My so called partner Johannes Faust has brought to my attention that he has lost all patience with me. He claims that I do nothing but spend money, and that is certainly not the case. Only, the disheartening part is that apparently that IS the case, according to the judge of my trial. That’s right, J. Faust brought me right to court about the money fuss. In that court room, another grown man had used the soul of his shoe to extinguish the strong fire inside of me by taking every possession right from under me. The monster even had the gall to take the very tools I work with, invent with.

Finally Finished

My life’s work has come to a conclusion as the black cover of the very last of two hundred Bibles collapses into completion. I just printed an estimated of two hundred copies of the Christian Bible. It has been a long time, but not a single moment was wasted. You never work a day in your life when you are preforming something you enjoy.

1455, Climax

The moment has finally arrived, I’ve succeeded. I’ve really achieved. I have just published the very first Bible, the Biblia Pauperum, right here in Germany. Should not be long until I can ship off the stock of Bibles to all the good giddy Christians. It will be my life’s work, when this is all over.

1454, Same Print, Different Day

The bibles are coming along swimmingly, yet I have taken on the extra work load of printing indulgences, upon special request of course. One wouldn’t want to be on the bad side of someone close with a clergyman, I suppose.
